Chad Gracia B W Portrait

Chad Gracia worked in New York theater for 20 years as a producer and dramaturg before directing his debut film, The Russian Woodpecker. This documentary about Ukraine’s 2014 Revolution of Dignity won multiple awards worldwide, including the Sundance Grand Jury Prize (2015), and was sold to Amazon. His Kyiv-based production company, GraciaFilms, focuses on tales of totalitarianism in the USSR and Russia. He evacuated to Lisbon in February 2022 and now works raising funds for actors and other creative professionals fighting on the front lines to save Ukraine.

Inka Achté is a Helsinki-based filmmaker with long experience in the film and TV industries. She started has a director/journalist at YLE (The Finnish National Broadcaster), making factual, youth, and cultural programs. After an MA in documentary directing at the National Film and TV School in the UK in 2012, she worked as a Sales Agent, at Taskovski Films and at Autlook Filmsales, while also directing her debut feature Boys Who Like Girls (2018). Her second feature doc Golden Land (2022) has won awards at Thessaloniki and Tampere Film Festivals. Inka also co-runs Raina Film Festival Distribution, an agency focusing distributing high quality short and documentary films, and is Head of Programming for Docpoint - Helsinki Documentary Film Festival.

Arianna Castoldi has a ten year experience in documentary sales, having previously worked as sales executive at Wide House and Upside Distribution. Three years ago she joined Mediawan Rights where she spearheads the documentary division focusing on sales, financing and co-production.

Francesca Sofia Allegra, an editor for 15 years, she started very young and has tackled every format, from music videos to feature films, from shorts to documentaries, and trailers, creating the launch campaigns for blockbuster films such as Perfetti sconosciuti by Paolo Genovese and A casa tutti bene by Gabriele Muccino. She made the two most successful docu-series of 2020, SanPa for Netflix and Veleno for Prime Video. Her latest work was Bella Ciao - Per la libertà, a great debut in cinema, with its primetime broadcast on Rai3 TV channel and later streaming on RaiPlay. A Sicilian from Messina, she has been living in London for years with her partner and a cat named Akira.

Antonella Di Nocera, film lecturer, curator and producer, after more than 20 years in cultural associations, she founded and chairs Parallelo 41 produzioni, which has more than 40 works to its credit including shorts, documentaries and independent films. Among them, the award-winning Il segreto by cyop&kaf (David di Donatello - Nomination ), Le cose belle by Agostino Ferrente and Giovanni Piperno (Nastri d'Argento - Best Docufilm), Aperti al pubblico by Silvia Bellotti (Jean Rouch Festival - Gran Premio Nanook| Visioni Italiane - Best doc), Rosa pietra stella by Marcello Sannino (IFFR Rotterdam | Pesaro Film Festival ), Agalma by Doriana Monaco (Venice Days), L'Armee Rouge (Festival dei Popoli). Since 2022, she has also created and been directing Venezia a Napoli. Il cinema esteso, the only independent film festival in collaboration with the Venice Biennale.

Anita Rivaroli, screenwriter and director, Anita Rivaroli graduated from Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia after a master's degree in New Media Languages at the Università Cattolica of Milan. Her first documentary, We are the thousand, premiered at the Rome Film Festival, IDFA and Hot Docs, winning numerous awards including the SXSW Film Festival Audience Award and the Best International Documentary Award at the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival. Today she is mainly involved in film and television seriality.

Emanuele Di Nicola was born in Rome in 1984. A journalist and film critic, he writes for Gli Spietati, Nocturno, Cinecritica and other publications. He collaborates with La Sapienza University of Rome in conducting film seminars in the Department of Communication and Social Research. He is a member of SNCCI – Italian National Film Critics Union. Among his publications, in addition to various essays in collective works, are the books La dissolvenza del lavoro. Crisi e disoccupazione attraverso il cinema (Ediesse, 2019) and La carne e l'anima. Il cinema di Abdellatif Kechiche (Mimesis, 2021).

Frédéric Pascali, born in Paris on Feb. 14, 1966, double nationality, Italian and French, is a graduate in Contemporary History, consultant in strategic and political communication, affiliated with the Società Italiana Studi Elettorali, and a member of the National Syndicate of Italian Film Critics and Fipresci, Fédération Internationale de la presse cinématographique. He writes for Taxidrivers.it and collaborates with GiornalediPuglia.com and Ripensandoci.com. He was recently a member of the Fipresci Jury, a parallel section of the 78th Venice International Film Festival.

Massimo Lechi (1986), film and theater critic. A graduate in Literature from the University of Genoa, he has been making reviews, interviews and correspondence from festivals for Italian and English-language magazines since 2006.In 2012 his first book was published, the biographical essay L'eresiadel dolore - Il Teatro di Antonio Tarantino (ed. Titivillus). A member of SNCCI since 2011, he has chaired FIPRESCI juries at the Mannheim-Heidelberg International Filmfestival in 2014, at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival in 2015 and at the Istanbul Film Festival in 2018 and 2021. He was also a member of international juries at numerous international film festivals.
