Throughout his career, Jeremy Thomas has produced films by Wenders, Cronenberg, Kitano, Nicholas Roeg, Stephen Frears and many other great authors of contemporary cinema, but his name in Italy is closely intertwined to Bernardo Bertolucci, with whom he shared the great worldwide success of The Last Emperor (1987), 9 Academy Awards, including Best Film and Best Director.
