[active project]
An itinerary for schools that uses cinema to stimulate the participatory reflection of children, young people and teachers on inclusion and combating discriminatory phenomena. Those who participate will be able to acquire technical skills on audiovisual language, but also awareness of the impact of images on our lives, becoming active citizens and builders of inclusive communities.
Schools of all levels, through the language of cinema, reflect on how to counter discriminatory phenomena, to take an active part in building inclusive communities.
The teacher-training and didactic-laboratory course with the classes focuses on education in film language and the experimentation of visual self-narrative tools, with a reflection on the ethical and conscious use of images shared online.
Taking inspiration from the Biografilm Festival experience, a Human Media Library takes shape, made up of autobiographies and audiovisual biographies realised by the classes. Screened first in theatres and then available online, the Human Media Library is an educational and didactic tool shared with the educating community and functional to the development of transversal skills.
Schools located in three provinces of the Emilia-Romagna Region, in peripheral and metropolitan areas, are involved.
The project opens in Bologna with a collective experiential training session for teachers and closes with a film festival in the cinema with the active participation of all classes and free access by citizens.
