Bio to B - Industry Days gets a makeover and changes moderator: Guido Casali hands over to Alessandra Principini

We are happy to announce the addition to the Bio to B - Industry Days | Doc & Drama 2025 team of our new moderator Alessandra Principini.

In an edition marked by change, we say goodbye and a big thank you to our colleague Guido Casali, who will not be able to take part in Bio to B this year because he is engaged in a new adventure. In his place comes Alessandra Principini. Her work focuses on development strategies in the audiovisual world with a particular focus on public policy, co-productions, tax credit and public financing.
Thanks to her support, enthusiasm and professionalism, we are ready for an edition, if possible even more focused on the mission of Bio To B - Industry Days | Doc; to offer as many opportunities and tools as possible to authors and producers of Italian and European documentaries.

Our co-ordinator of Bio to B - Industry Days | Doc&Drama, Caterina Mazzuccato, warmly greets and thanks Casali and gladly welcomes Principini to the team:

In the many changes and transformations that we are gradually announcing, we would like to greet and heartily thank our colleague Guido Casali. An attentive selector and moderator, and always a welcoming face, over the last three years he has contributed to making Bio To B - Industry Days a point of reference for professionals in the documentary sector.
A big good luck, therefore, to Guido, who this year will not take part in the Biografilm industry days because he is engaged in a new, exciting collective adventure: the launch of the new Milano Film Fest, to which we already wish long life and great success.
In his place in the Bio To B team, alongside myself, the entire Biografilm staff and the passionate collaborators Theodora Moisescu and Elena Tommasi, is Alessandra Principini. Her professionalism and enthusiasm promise a 2025 edition, if possible even more focused on the mission of Bio To B - Industry Days | Doc; to offer as many opportunities and tools as possible to authors and producers of Italian and European documentaries.

Thank you, Guido. Welcome, Alessandra!

With these words the new moderator, Alessandra Principini, introduces herself:

It is a great emotion to play the role of moderator in this twelfth edition. I have been following Bio To B with enthusiasm for some time now and I find it extraordinary how it manages to welcome and respond to the needs of industry professionals in an ever new way, in a market and a world that is constantly and ever faster changing.
But some things never change: we always, all of us, need extraordinary stories. I look forward to making myself available to this year's projects and doing my best to accompany them on their journey. Many thanks to Caterina Mazzucato and the Bio To B team for their trust and to Guido Casali for the wonderful work he has done and the support he continues to give us.

Thank you very much! A big hug,
Ale

 Finally, greetings from Guido Casali:

In these three years of collaboration with Bio To B I have had the good fortune to work and spend wonderful moments with wonderful people, whom I will always and forever thank. Not only that, I have had perhaps an even greater fortune: to be able to listen, to accompany for a part of their journey, and to see dozens of innovative and daring projects grow. Unfortunately, my commitments with the new Milano Film Fest prevent me from continuing, but I make this handover with great serenity and confidence. I leave Bio To B in the excellent and capable hands of Alessandra Principini, knowing that she will always be accompanied by Caterina, Theodora and the entire Bio to B and Biografilm team. I am happy to always be able to give passionate support, even if more defiladed, to this edition of Bio To B to which I wish a long life full of stories to tell.

Thanks again for everything!
Guido
