Doc Around Europe: Opportunities for Emerging Documentarians

Biografilm and Bio to B are proud to be part of Doc Around Europe, a network dedicated to supporting and promoting European documentaries made by emerging filmmakers, with the aim of facilitating their connection to audiences and the international market.

In this context, we are pleased to present the open calls and other opportunities that our festival partners are offering for their upcoming editions. These initiatives represent an important opportunity for filmmakers to showcase their work and connect with a wider audience.

  • DOK.fest München: submissions open!

Submissions for the 40th edition of DOK.fest München (from May 7 to 18, 2025, in cinemas and from May 12 to 25, 2025, online) are officially open!

The festival is looking for engaging, moving, curious, impressive, and relevant documentary films.

The 40th edition of DOK.fest München will provide a dual festival experience, combining the best of both worlds: from May 7 to 18, selected documentary films will be presented in cinemas and special venues in Munich, while from May 12 to 25, they will be available exclusively online on digital screens throughout Germany.
